the characteristic wobble of our printer is fully evident in this photograph. the parts are precise, yet rough — each one is unique, but still follows a general pattern. while hyper-precision might be the goal of some fabricators, there’s a certain honesty about these prints, the digital-to-analog conversion is unpretentious and carefree, like watching a child draw a picture.
